Judy Thurau

Pilates Instructor, Scoliosis Specialty

Judy started to experience back and shoulder pain that never seemed to get better. She discovered that she had scoliosis which went undiagnosed since her teens. She spent over 10 years working with personal trainers, practicing yoga, and training in karate. After discovering Pilates and managing her pain, getting stronger and preventing her curvature from getting worse, she felt it was time to help others find the relief and hope that Pilates has given her.

Judy is a graduate of Kane School of Core Integration. She holds certifications in Functional Anatomy for Movement & Injuries (FAMI). Her years of practice and education allows her to work with clients dealing with all kinds of physical injuries: knee, shoulder, hip, back, and of course Scoliosis. She has also helped women through their pre- and post-natal experience.

Judy’s passion is to help others better understand their bodies through movement. To develop strength, overcome and manage pain, and live lives of wellness.

When Judy is not teaching, she loves doing Pilates, hiking, reading and spending time with her family.
