Malvina Lorida
DAc, L.Ac
Acupuncturist, Pilates & Gyrotonic Instructor
Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Malvina Lorida moves at the intersection of care, movement, and performance. An acupuncturist, holistic health advocate, and movement teacher, her work is rooted in the living intelligence of the soma, the body as a site of memory, expression, and transformation.
Her path has unfolded across Greece, Germany, Spain, Costa Rica, and New York City, where she has studied, performed, and taught embodied practices that invite presence, strength, and fluidity. Drawing from Pilates, Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinesis®, yoga, and East Asian medicine, she weaves structure with sensation, precision with intuition.
A Doctor of Acupuncture and New York State Licensed Acupuncturist, Malvina brings a deeply integrative clinical perspective to her work, treating the body, nervous system, and inner life as inseparable. She is currently in training in Somatic Experiencing, further deepening her capacity to support healing at the level of the nervous system.
A Comprehensive Pilates Instructor, Certified Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® Instructor, and 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher, Malvina brings a rich movement vocabulary to everything she offers.
Influenced by her background in acupuncture and performance art, her teaching invites students to listen deeply, to breath, rhythm, and inner landscape, cultivating movement as a form of integration, inquiry, and creative expression.
