Workshop
Menopause for Movement Professionals
Friday, March 21st, 2025
2-5pm
Location: The Movement Study
Fee: $160
Join Julia, board-certified (NBC-HWC) Health Coach, Menopause Expert, and Kane School graduate, as she shares knowledge on menopause and how hormones affect the musculoskeletal system. Whether you're a client or movement professional, you'll take away valuable insight on this topic.
With more than 100 estrogen receptors in the body, the cluster of symptoms—such as arthralgia, frozen shoulder, gluteal tendinopathy, sarcopenia, decreased bone density, and osteoarthritis—are heavily influenced by fluctuating estrogen levels.
Yet many movement professionals lack training on the associated Musculoskeletal Syndrome of Menopause because it was only recognized in March 2024.
In this three-hour workshop with Julia Granacki, participants will
examine the link between estrogen and the musculoskeletal system
discuss the conditions related to menopause, and the most effective treatment strategies
Understand best practices for educating clients using empathy, curiosity, and the “coach approach.”
This workshop is offered simultaneously in person and virtual on zoom. In person spots limited to 12. Recording link will be available for 2 weeks.
